What is Tony Awards 2023

It was founded by theatre producer and director Brock Pemberton and are named after Antoinette “Tony” Perry, an actress, producer and theatre director who was co-founder and secretary of the American Theatre Wing.

The Tony Awards ceremony was first premiered on April 6, 1947. It was designed Herman Rosse. The Tony awards are presented by the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League at an annual ceremony in Manhattan every year.

The awards ceremony has been presented every year continuously since 1947. That’s why Tony Awards 2023 will be its 76th annual awards ceremony.
