According to the tournament structure, all the teams have been divided into 8 groups (A to H). Every group will have 4 teams. And only two teams of each group will advance to the knock-out stages.
The matches of the FIFA World Cup 2022 Tournament will be played in 8 stadiums in Qatar. All the teams will play 3 matches to qualify for knock-out stage or pre-quarterfinal. Because only 16 teams will participate in pre-quarterfinal which will start from 3 December 2022.

The semi-finals of this tournament will be played on Dec. 14 and 15 while the final of FIFA World Cup 2022 will be played on 18 December 2022 at the Lusail Iconic Stadium Qatar.
