Kailyn Lowry, the former star of Teen Mom 2, has revealed that she is pregnant with twins. The 31-year-old shared the news on her podcast, Barely Famous, on Friday.
She said that she and her boyfriend, Elijah Scott, conceived the twins during a trip to Thailand.

Lowry said that she had no idea that she was pregnant until she came back from the vacation. She noticed some changes in her appetite and appearance, but she dismissed them as nothing serious.
She said, “I must have got pregnant right before I left and I had no idea. My face was flushed, but I didn’t think anything of it because I was like, there’s no way. There’s no way I am [pregnant].”

The twins will be Lowry’s sixth and seventh children. She already has five sons: Isaac, 13, with Jo Rivera; Lincoln, 9, with Javi Marroquin; Lux, 6, and Creed, 3, with Chris Lopez; and Rio, who was born in November 2022 with Scott.
Lowry kept her fifth pregnancy and birth a secret until October 2023, when she confirmed it in an interview with People.

Lowry said that she wanted to tell her own story on her own terms, without any contractual obligations or media pressure.
She also denied that Scott was the reason why she didn’t announce her fifth child earlier. She said, “It’s never been true that he wasn’t allowing me to post anything.”

Lowry and Scott have been dating since 2022. Lowry called him the “love of [her] life” on her Coffee Convos podcast last year. She said that she felt like she had known him for a lifetime.

Lowry has not revealed the due date or the genders of her twins yet. She said that she is excited and nervous about having two more babies at once. She said, “This is my … sixth pregnancy. Like, six and seven for me.”
