A representative for Shah tells us exclusively that the former housewife is counting down the days until her reunion with her husband, Sharrieff “Coach” Shah, and their two sons.
“Jen is incredibly grateful to be returning home to her family in time for the holidays,” the representative shared. “She has spent the last 33 months reflecting, learning, and working on herself. She is excited to put this chapter behind her and focus on making amends and moving forward with her life.”
The source adds that Shah has been “model inmate” during her time at the minimum-security camp—often dubbed “Club Fed”—where she notably crossed paths with other high-profile inmates, including Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes.
A Drastic Sentence Reduction
Shah’s journey through the legal system has been highly publicized. Arrested in March 2021 while filming RHOSLC, she initially maintained her innocence before pleading guilty in July 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Prosecutors described a “telemarketing scheme” that defrauded thousands of vulnerable victims, many of them elderly.
On January 6, 2023, she was sentenced to 78 months (6.5 years) behind bars. She reported to prison on February 17, 2023.
Her release this December marks a reduction of nearly half her original sentence.
